First meeting of the Reconstruction Community is this Sunday :)

I recently announced our new circle The Reconstruction Community. You can read all about it here.

Initially I launched it with a one-time annual fee to join for the year, but there have been enough people reaching out to ask for an option to sign up for just one session at a time, that I decided to create that. Register here.

This Sunday we will be discussing God.

We’ll be reflecting both on the remnants of old Gods bouncing around our brains that we would like to extract and what we would like to construct.

As always, never here to to tell anyone what to believe, just to provide space for personal reflection and discovery.

I have found this topic to be rather under-reflected on. The God(s) of our childhood and young adulthood have a massive impact on how we think, what we prioritize, our relationship to guilt and shame, but they are often lurking around the shadows of our brains undetected.

We’re going to bring them out of their hiding spot on Sunday as we consider how to de-fang old Gods and usher in tenderness and compassion in its place.
